“I was a good kid, born in a mad city where poverty, crime, and disease stole dreams. I saw friends fall because they didn’t have the cheat code—but I knew the key was education. When I couldn’t afford school, I dropped out. I labored, saved, and fought my way back. Thanks to kind souls who believed in me, I got educated. Now, it’s my turn to give back.” – Don 

Gran Sueño exists to sponsor, mentor, and uplift children and youth—because no one should be denied a future just because they can’t afford it. 

This belief brought us together.

“I’ve spent the past decade teaching, helping young minds grow. Before that, I was a nurse, caring for those in need. But coming to Kenya opened my eyes in a new way—it showed me how much impact education can have when opportunities are limited.” – Joana
